To further foster research related to interviewers and the interviewer-respondent interaction, a workshop focusing on interviewer-respondent interaction will be held preceding the 68^th Annual Conference of the American Association for Public Opinion Research.   The workshop will consist of several plenary sessions as well as roundtable discussions covering research broadly related to the interviewer-respondent interaction.  The program will include sessions on interviewer-respondent interaction and response quality; interviewer-respondent interaction and cooperation; quantitative studies of interaction in survey interviews; statistical modeling of interviewer-respondent interaction or interviewer-respondent behavior data; as well as roundtables focusing on practical issues in conducting research on interviewers and interviewer-respondent interaction.

There is no registration fee for the workshop but registration is required.  Workshop registration includes access to all of the workshop sessions and roundtables as well as a reception and dinner, Wednesday, May 15^th and lunch on Thursday, May 16^th.  Participants are responsible for their own housing and transportation.  AAPOR room rates are available at the AAPOR conference hotel, Seaport Boston Hotel: http://www.aapor.org/Hotel_and_Travel3.htm
